The remnants of Tropical Storm Lee battered the East Coast last week, flooding the streets of my neighborhood and even closing down parts of the Beltway.

I was glad I chose to ride home on the bus, not on my bike as I'd planned.

Now the streets are sparkling clean and the sun is shining like last week was just a dream.
